Verdict on Heartsong
Heartsong is a romantic comedy that sees two people that will do anything for love. This means going against the family’s wishes and dealing with the disgrace they feel towards their daughter.
It is an oddball comedy that puts plenty into the traditions that have held back love before. This leaves not very much to work on, as we see the wacky journey the characters go on. Everything in the film feels like it wants to give everything to the heart it deserves but falls flat on making a bigger impact on the message.
Where to Watch: Heartsong is available on Netflix now.
Final Thoughts –Heartsong is a flat romantic comedy, that tries to be an oddball comedy and misses the laughs.
