Verdict on Glass Onion

Benoit Blanc is a world-renowned detective, however, he finds himself bored without a case. He finds himself invited to the island for the mystery weekend, only for the weekend to lead to a real murder he must solve. Benoit continues his unique flair for solving mysteries throughout the film.

Miles Bron is a billionaire who invites everyone to the island, he has built an empire in tech and constantly wants to find more ideas. He has planned a murder mystery weekend and uses the location to help him get what he wants.

Andi is a former business partner of Miles, she lost a case to go against him. This has led to the breakup of friendships and business partnerships. She appears on the island as a surprise from everyone else.

Claire is running for senate and her friendship with Miles helps fund her campaign. Lionel works on development with Miles, being left in the middle of the bigger decisions that need to be made. Birdie is a former model that always gets herself in trouble on social media. Duke completes the main group of friends, he is a gun-happy Twitch streamer.

We get an excellent cast here, Daniel Craig maintains his great detective characters. When it comes to the new cast, Edward Norton embraces the eccentric billionaire, showing how his character has walked over people. Janelle Monae is wonderful to watch, and Kate Hudson and Dave Bautista get to have a lot of fun with their roles too. The whole cast is fun to watch throughout.

The story follows Benoit Blanc as he gets his latest case, one on a remote island surrounded by a group of people who rely on the billionaire owner. When things start to spiral out of control, he must use his detective skills to solve the latest case.

Following up from Knives Out seeing Benoit Blanc return will always be entertaining. This time we get another mystery that is filled with twists and turns along the way. It keeps us guessing as to where things will go, making sure everyone is a potential suspect. However, everything seems to unfold quickly with the outcome behind it all being clear for all to see.

The location of the billionaire playboy house works wonderfully and the mystery box is something that would be excellent to get more time with.

Final Thoughts Glass Onion constantly keeps you guessing along with the story.
