Plot: A successful but isolated artist, struggling with agoraphobia, has her life turned upside down when one of her works of art comes to life. At first, she joyfully accepts this reprieve from her self-imposed exile, but her new friends are not all they seem, and her small world starts to come apart as her fear of the outside comes into conflict with her new creations and their need for freedom.

Story: Girl Upstairs starts when struggling artist Dulce (Blair) finds it difficult to create her next piece. She is facing pressure from her connections and has created a self-imposed exile for herself. However, her agoraphobia is starting to control her life, creating even more isolation.
One night, Dulce discovers one of her pieces of work has come to life. It brings Webster (Cintra) to life, and she must decide what to do with her new friend. However, her mind continues to thrive in the idea of creating something more, but can she control her creations or not?
Verdict on Girl Upstairs
Girl Upstairs is a mystery thriller following an agoraphobic artist who has isolated herself from the world. She is struggling to find inspiration for her next piece but ends up seeing her life turned upside down by her latest creation.
This movie takes us down to the world of isolation. It shows how difficult dealing with it and how agoraphobia can make it even worse. This highlights the transformation Dulce goes through during the stressful time while showing how her world changes in ways she could never imagine. There are unsettling sequences, dealing with the side effects of her creations. As well as a series of moral questions about what she should do with what has happened. It is an interesting film and Holly Blair’s performance helps grab your attention.
