Ghosted is a modern British romcom about Mercy, a struggling actress navigating love, self-discovery, and unexpected relationships in today's dating scene.

If you have a Bridget Jones shaped hole in your heart, get ready to fall in love with a brand-new, award-winning feel-good British romcom that tackles the turbulent twists and turns of modern dating

It’s a tale as old as time, the hopeless romantic that’s hapless in love on her quest to find the man of her dreams… now brand-new romcom Ghosted adds a modern twist to the story.

Meet struggling actress Mercy (Jade Asha – Contact, Due Dating) as she attempts to make something of her career while navigating the trials and tribulations of dating in the 21st Century in her search for ‘the one’.

Writer, producer and lead actor Jade Asha and director Daniel Pacquette (Tomorrow Never Dies, Entrapment) have garnered awards left right and centre for this charming London set romcom inspired by Asha’s own dating experiences. Following its premiere in the UK and at film festivals across the globe, Ghosted is set to arrive on UK digital this July courtesy of Miracle Media.

After years of failed dates and bad boyfriends, Mercy is still searching for her perfect match. Following a fleeting encounter with the mysterious Michael (Byron Swiegers – Contact, Due Dating), who ends up ghosting her, Mercy’s friends insist she gives dating apps a whirl… so she gets swiping.

Then her luck begins to change when she matches with Mr USA aka Blake (Kevin de Groot – Contact), their chemistry is undeniable and Mercy falls head over heels immediately… but the course of true love never did run smooth, just as things start to heat up, they quickly fizzle out when Blake suddenly rushes off back to the States.

The pursuit of love takes another unexpected turn when a chance encounter with Michael, the ghoster, makes her question whether this flame burnt out too quickly and if perhaps there is hope for them yet.

Torn between her exciting new American and a second chance with Michael, Mercy struggles to decide who is her Mr. Right and who is Mr. Wrong.

But spending so much time chasing the men in her life, she begins to lose sight of her career, friends and family and realises she must take stock and consider the most important question… what does she truly want for herself?

Open up your heart to this fun-filled, fresh tale of romance, family and friendship that reminds us that sometimes the most important relationship of all is the one we have with ourselves.
