Story: Four Little Adults starts when Juulia (Poysti) discovers her husband Matias (Milonoff) has been having an affair with Enni (Airola). Juulia decides she doesn’t want to throw away their marriage and offers Matias a chance to have an open marriage. It leads to her meeting Enni and them both exploring more of their options in love.

Juulia uses the chance to meet her own extra guy in her life, opening her up to enjoy life. However, they find themselves needing to decide whether they want this type of relationship moving forward or not.

Four Little Adults is a drama following four adults who decide to enter an open marriage to deal with one couple’s adultery. It leads to different emotional developments and a strange family dynamic with the people they meet. However, the question is more about whether everyone involved is happy.

This movie explores a world where people live in more open relationships, but not everyone gets the same out of the relationship. It shows the different situations everyone goes through, with some getting more out of the relationship than others. While it does open a bigger discussion, it doesn’t seem to offer enough in the way of whether it is what is best for everyone involved.

FOUR LITTLE ADULTS will open in cinemas from  Friday 7th June 2024.

Final Thoughts Four Little Adults is an interesting journey into relationships.
