Story: Fortress: Sniper’s Eye starts in the aftermath of the attack at the Fortress. Robert (Willis) is still recovering from injury. Paul (Metcalfe) and Kate (Greyson) are leading the operation to move out of the facility. Until her mother Carole (White) and little sister Zoe (Haugh) arrive for a visit.
When Balzary (Murray) returns with his men, they take the Fortress a lot easier. With lowered guards, leading to Robert, Paul and Kate needing to figure out a way to stop Balzary once and for all.
Thoughts on Fortress: Sniper’s Eye
Characters & Performances
Robert is injured after the rescue and fights in the last outing. Recovering from them, remaining bedbound. He still thinks they are in danger, and he isn’t wrong. Paul is thrown into helping Balzary once again. Needing to have the same arguments about helping, before trying to find his own way out of the situation. Part to make his father proud and part to make his potential new mother-in-law safe.
Balzary has returned, searching for his money, taking the Fortress once again. Having survived the gunshot from the first movie. Kate is back too, she gets the visit from her mother and sister. Giving her even more reason to keep fighting back. We have Bruce Willis, Jesse Metcalfe, Chad Michael Murray and Kelly Greyson all return in this film. It is still Michael Sirow that steals the show, being the character, you want to see in more scenes in the movie.
Fortress: Sniper’s Eye is the follow up toe Fortress. The story follows the clean up at the Fortress after the first attack. Only to see them come under attack again, by the same group. We get some flashback to the fight scenes in the first film. Which only shows us how somebody survived the first movie.
When it comes to what is going on, we get pretty much the same as the first. Criminal wants money, still believes he has had it taken off him. Needing to see the mercenaries making the typical mistakes, like turning their backs on everyone getting caught off guard. This doesn’t offer anything else to this Fortress world, with a title that doesn’t include a Sniper.
Fortress: Sniper’s Eye is an action thriller that will leave us with the military style assault plan, relying on Ken Blain to bring the best moments in the fighting, with the rest only being left as not smoothly played out action. The film will remain on the Fortress location, it doesn’t feel as secure as it would like to be.

Final Thoughts – Fortress: Sniper’s Eye is a flat standard sequel, that does the same as the first film.
