Thoughts on Follow Me

ThoughtsFollow Me is an adventure horror mystery that is looking to capture the intense torture porn of a Hostel movie, with the pure annoyance people have with the insufferable vlog stars of the world. This will give us a group of annoying vlog stars, as they show the self-centred fake side to their personalities, with only Cole getting a glimmer of human side with his new relationship of the characters. Apart from Erin, the rest of the characters are all about one thing, viewers, they don’t care who they walk over to get this. For the most part the friends are designed to be the disposable characters, while Cole is set on a decision-making trip, where it is clear he is considering giving up this life, but isn’t in the best position to do so. The actors in the film do a good job at making us not like the characters they are given, only it would have been nice to see so more from Erin’s point of view, the one character not obsessed with this world. The biggest problem with this movie, is the constant bad decision making going on, even though the same moments are happening, especially with the first set of games.

Final Thoughts Follow Me wants to be Hostel, only fails to give us interesting characters.
