Film Focus – Frailty (2001)

A man confesses to an FBI agent his family’s story of how his religious fanatic father’s visions lead to a series of murders to destroy supposed “demons.”

This turns into a very surprisingly suspenseful film which creates an atmosphere you think is coming of low key drama but throws something straight into your face. The story keeps you guessing what has happened and a twist ending to leave you asking questions between over viewers makes this a very enjoyable film.

Bill Paxton’s first time behind the chair and he does a brilliant job and a very impressive performance from Matthew McConaughey showing he is a talented actor just doesn’t always show off his skills.
