Story This is the story of Greg Heffley (Gordon) who starts middle school and wants to become the popular kid. There are a few problems to his dream, one is his best friend Rowley (Capron) who is all to happy to be himself which doesn’t seem to make his popularity go up. We also have the idea off join lots of unpopular after school activities complete disregarding the rules his brother Rodrick (Bostick) has taught him. Even with the advice at the school from Angie (Moretz) who just seems to cruise through the days never worrying about what people think. Greg has to come too turns with who he is before he can worry about what people think about him, can he learn it in time?

Verdict This school comedy is actually quite funny, Watching Greg attempts to make himself popular backfiring is rather amusing. The lesson learned by Greg is a good one for all kids who are going through or about to go through. The support cast shine in their minimal screen time. I personally wouldn’t have gone out my way to watch this but I did get recommended it but a fellow film fan and he pick well, I would now recommended you check this one out
