Story: Day of a Lion starts when sisters Wanda (Bianca) and Dolly (Dilara) reunite after their father’s death. However, Wanda has lived a quieter life compared to the glitz and glam Dolly has lived through. The sisters clash with what is best as past dramas come to light.

However, the more they argue, the more they learn they need each other through the difficult time. Can they finally put their differences aside before it is too late?

Recap

Best Parts

The performances from the twin stars, writers and directors, help carry this compelling movie. We get an excellent vision of how sisters can seem far apart and from different worlds. However, they come together a learn to adapt to the changes they have been through. The movie keeps the singular location of the home the sisters grew up in, giving them a familiar location to settle their differences. One notable thing is that we have a simple story line and the movie flies by, this could easily have been a movie which dragged along with the same message.

Final ThoughtsDay of a Lion is a compelling journey through sisters’ connection.
