Plot: After the alleged suicide of her priest brother, Grace travels to the remote Scottish convent where he fell to his death. Distrusting the Church’s account, she uncovers murder, sacrilege and a disturbing truth about herself.

Story: Consecration starts when Grace (Malone) discovers her brother has died in an alleged suicide. She heads to his convent to investigate the death, meeting Mother Superior (Suzman) and Father Romero (Huston).
Grace begins asking questions to the other nuns and her investigation questions what was said about her brother’s death. However, the more she questions, the stranger the events around her.
Verdict on Consecration

Best Parts
The movie mixes religious beliefs and an unknown death. It keeps us wondering what the bigger picture is and why the death happened. The performances are good throughout the movie and the question of supernatural and religion comes through strongly.
Worst Parts
The questions come from the bigger picture, as it seems like too much goes on, with bigger extremes than suggested. It can come off confusing at times, and by the end of the movie you will wonder what could have happened, rather than what did.
Final Thoughts –Consecration has creepy moments and a mix of religious unknowns.
