Plot: A young mole must try to achieve his impossible dream of becoming a footballer in order to save his hometown gold mine from a greedy supervillain known only as ‘The Boss’.

Story: Strike starts as we meet a young mole Mungo who is from a family of miners in a small town of Diggingtown, he is about to get his role in the mine with his father, but he has dreams of playing football for England with a world cup coming up.

When there is a disaster in the mine, Mungo is left down with just his best friends Hedy and Ryan to bring up his spirits, trying to help him get back to his dreams when England need them most, while the mine is under threat.

Thoughts on Strike

ThoughtsStrike is a stop-motion animation that will bring the small community feeling as one young mole looks to follow his dream away from mine of playing football. Sure, the dream is big and completely unrealistic, but it does focus on friendship and being part of a community during their time of need. It is all a harmless family comedy, that will get adult laughs that kids will have no idea about. This is a nice fun movie that is easy to watch, will get a few laughs and gives us the biggest harmless enough to please everyone.

Final Thoughts Strike is a fun family film that can be enjoyed by the whole family.
