Story: Lee starts we meet Lee Miller (Winslet) telling her story to a young man. She had done everything in life pre-World war II, fro and lived a life of luxury. However, she never managed to settle down, even after meeting Roland Penrose (Skarsgard).

When World War II breaks out, Lee wants to use her photography skills, leading her to head overseas. She joins the front line with Davy Scherman (Samberg) and starts recording events in Europe. Her photos became famous, and her personal life was challenged as she pushed how far she was willing to go.

Lee is a drama about photographer Lee Miller and her work capturing the tragedies of World War II. It follows her life before the war and her battles to make sure the stories were told. However, the risks could cause lasting effects, and she is seen as only a woman in a warzone.

This movie shows how a determined free spirited helped create some of the biggest and most influential photos from World War II. She broke down doors refused to be held back and went on to live a secret life. This is another story of someone who did incredible work during the war that didn’t get credit until much later on in life. Kate Winslet is great in the leading role, as we have come to expect from her over the years. The supporting cast is great too and as we learn more about the origin of some of the most famous photos in history.
