Plot: College students are brutally murdered by a gruesomely masked attacker. It is left to Sherriff Bracco, Laurie the County Coroner and their teacher, Kelly, to find out who the real bone crunching murderer is.

Story: 213 Bones starts when a group of anthropology students Lisa (Fujimoto), Eric (Woodrum), Brent (Nance) and others begin studying. Their teacher Kelly (Egglesfield) is guiding their class, but an unexpected murder on compass changes everything.
However, when their friendship circle includes the latest victims, the students begin to investigate the murders. They believe they know who it might be, but the murders pile up, leading them down a dangerous path against a ruthless killer.
Verdict on 213 Bones

The movie follows a group of anthropology students who become targets of a serial killer. They must work together to figure out who is targeting them, by diving into the history of the town. However, they are running out of time, as the killer begins racking up the bodies.
Best Parts
The movie has a retro slasher feel, with the lack of modern technology, makes us feel like we are in 90s. It makes the movie thrive with the connections needed to uncover the truth. The mystery keeps us guessing who is behind the mask, in a similar style to Scream. We get good performances from the cast, as we get a host of colourful characters.
Worst Parts
The movie struggles to establish the students to standout in the way many slashers before it has. None of the characters feel like we could return to see their next adventure if we were to ever get a sequel and often tend to fight too hard to feel like the leading character.
Final Thoughts –213 Bones is a great retro styled slasher movie.
