However, his parents become suspicious, and the tiger begins to enjoy his new life in the city, free of constant hunters. It reflects the nature of the world, wanting to take more before accepting a place in it.

Verdict on Extinction: Animals Unite!

Recap

The movie follows a young boy who saves a tiger from hunters. He takes it upon himself to help the tiger get back to the jungle and tackle the ruthless hunters. However, the dangers begin to take over, as he learns the reality of the world he has entered.

Best Parts

The movie blends the idea of protecting endangered species and childhood imagination about being a superhero. While, it has danger throughout, the bigger picture is much more about learning about the problems in the world. The message is clear and the sense of adventure is enjoyable.

Worst Parts

This might have been too dangerous for a child to get involved in. Elsewhere, the hunters seem to lack anything to make them standout or show their relentless side like hired hitmen, rather than a standout villainous leader.

Never Pay Full Price Again: 7 Ways Technology Can Help You Find a Cheaper Holiday in 2026

Never Pay Full Price Again: 7 Ways Technology Can Help You Find a Cheaper Holiday in 2026

The free digital tools that UK travellers are using to find better deals, faster

Key Points:

  • Digital expert shares their top tips for using technology to find and track the best travel deals available to UK holidaymakers
  • From price alert apps and browser extensions to loyalty programmes and comparison sites, there are smarter ways to save on every trip
  • Expert says that with the right tools in place, tracking travel deals doesn’t have to be stressful or time-consuming

Finding a great holiday deal has less to do with luck than most people think. Knowing where to look, when to act, and which tools to use can make the difference between an overpriced last-minute scramble and a well-planned trip that comes in well under budget. For UK travellers, the good news is that the digital tools available to help with this have never been more accessible or more effective.

The team at Sweepstakes Table, a comprehensive online resource and comparison platform with expertise in navigating digital tools and online offers, knows a thing or two about finding value in a crowded market. With the right digital setup, the deals can come to you.

Track Smarter, Save More

Finding a bargain holiday isn’t about refreshing the same website for hours on end. Here, Trifon Boyukliyski, Spokesperson at Sweepstakes Table, shares his top tips for tracking travel deals like a pro.

1. Use Price Alert Apps

Price alert apps are one of the most useful tools in a traveller’s arsenal. Apps like Google Flights, Skyscanner, and Hopper allow you to track specific routes and receive notifications when prices drop, meaning you don’t have to constantly check fares yourself.

“Set up alerts for your preferred destinations and travel dates as early as possible,” says Boyukliyski. “These apps track price fluctuations over time, so you’ll know when you’re looking at a good deal rather than a standard fare dressed up as one.”

2. Sign Up for Deal Newsletters

It sounds simple, but a dedicated email inbox for travel newsletters can be a surprisingly powerful money-saving tool. Services like Jack’s Flight Club, Secret Escapes, and Holiday Pirates regularly send subscribers exclusive deals, flash sales, and error fares that never make it to mainstream comparison sites.

“The best deals often disappear within hours,” Boyukliyski notes. “Having them land directly in your inbox means you’re not relying on stumbling across them by chance. A separate email address for deal subscriptions keeps things organised and ensures you won’t miss anything.”

3. Leverage Browser Extensions

Browser extensions like Honey, Capital One Shopping, and Pruvo work quietly in the background while you browse, automatically applying discount codes or flagging when a hotel price has dropped after you’ve already booked.

“A lot of travellers don’t realise that hotel prices can fall after the initial booking,” says Boyukliyski. “Extensions like Pruvo monitor your existing bookings and alert you if the price drops, so you can rebook at the lower rate. It’s a straightforward way to save money with very little effort.”

4. Follow Social Media for Real-Time Alerts

Travel deal accounts on X (formerly Twitter), Facebook, and Instagram can flag limited-time offers and airline seat sales the moment they go live. Pages and accounts dedicated to budget travel are especially useful for spontaneous travellers who can move quickly when a deal appears.

“Social media moves fast, which actually works in your favour here,” Boyukliyski explains. “Airlines and travel companies often post flash sales with very short windows. Following the right accounts means you’re among the first to know, rather than finding out after the offer has closed.”

5. Use Comparison Websites Wisely

Sites like Skyscanner, Kayak, and Google Flights are well known, but getting the most out of them requires a bit of know-how. Using the “whole month” or “flexible dates” view, for example, lets you instantly see which days offer the cheapest fares without manually checking each one.

“Don’t just search for a fixed date and accept whatever comes up,” says Boyukliyski. “Shifting your departure by even a day or two can result in a significant price difference. Comparison tools make it easy to spot those gaps if you know where to look.”

6. Take Advantage of Loyalty Programmes

Airline and hotel loyalty programmes are often underused by UK travellers. Signing up to programmes like British Airways Executive Club, IHG One Rewards, or Marriott Bonvoy costs nothing, and points accumulate whether you’re travelling for work or leisure.

“People assume loyalty programmes are only worth it for frequent flyers, but that’s not the case,” says Boyukliyski. “Even occasional travellers build up points over time. Those points can go towards flight upgrades, free hotel nights, or reduced fares, savings that add up over the course of a year.”

7. Stay Flexible and Track Trends

Flexibility is a valuable asset that a budget-conscious traveller can have. Being open to different airports, travel dates, or even destinations gives you access to a far wider range of deals. Tools like Google Flights’ price trend feature show whether fares for a given route are currently high, low, or typical, helping you decide whether to book now or wait.

“If you can travel mid-week or outside school holiday periods, you’re already ahead of most people searching for the same trip,” Boyukliyski adds. “Combine that flexibility with the right tracking tools, and you’re in a strong position to find real value.”

Trifon Boyukliyski, Spokesperson at Sweepstakes Table, comments:

“Tracking travel deals doesn’t have to feel like a part-time job. The tools are out there, and most of them are free. It’s just a matter of knowing which ones to use and getting them set up. Once your alerts are running and your newsletters are landing in a dedicated inbox, a lot of the hard work takes care of itself.

“The biggest mistake travellers make is waiting until they’re ready to book before they start looking. The smartest approach is to keep an eye on prices well in advance, so you have a clear sense of what a good deal actually looks like when one appears.

“Start small. Pick one or two of these tools, get comfortable with them, and build from there. You might be surprised how much you can save with just a little tech-savvy planning.”

‘Watching Mr. Pearson’ Sets Spring Nationwide Theatrical Rollout

‘Watching Mr. Pearson’ Sets Spring Nationwide Theatrical Rollout as KT Pictures and Hedy Films Build on SXSW-Premiering Imposters

April 9th Launch Across CT, MA, VA and DE Precedes Broader U.S. Expansion Beginning in May, Led by Grassroots, Community-Driven Release Strategy

Fresh off serving as co-producers on the SXSW-premiering 2026 sci-fi thriller Imposters, Boston-based KT Pictures and Hedy Films are channeling that momentum into a nationwide theatrical rollout of their latest feature, Watching Mr. Pearson.

Launching first across Connecticut, Massachusetts, Virginia, and Delaware beginning in April, the film is already generating strong early demand, with filmmaker-attended screenings beginning to fill up in multiple markets ahead of opening. The rollout will expand into a broader national release across the United States starting in May, powered by a grassroots strategy rooted in community engagement and direct audience connection.

This is not a conventional release. It is a ground-up theatrical movement in motion.

Working city by city, the team has built partnerships with memory care organizations, senior living communities, educators, and caregiver networks, activating audiences before opening weekend. Screenings are being positioned as shared community experiences, with planned post-film Q&As, conversations, and local collaborations designed to spark dialogue and connection around the film’s themes.

At the center of this effort is a close-knit creative collective: producers Samantha Valletta (Hedy Films), Dillon Bentlage, and Brian Reilly (KT Pictures), alongside co-writer and producer Simon Kienitz Kincade, whose personal connection to dementia and caregiving informs the emotional core of the film.

Together, they represent a new wave of independent filmmakers building outside traditional systems. Their collaboration spans multiple feature films, award-winning short films, and the internationally recognized web series Play It By Ear, which screened at Nashville Film Festival, HollyShorts, Dances With Films, and Catalyst Content Festival. That same hands-on, filmmaker-first ethos now drives a theatrical model built on relationships, trust, and lived experience.

Watching Mr. Pearson tells the story of a once-renowned actor struggling to distinguish past from present, and the two caregivers who use imagination and performance to help him remain connected to the world around him.

The film is anchored by a powerful central performance from Hugo Armstrong, whose body of work includes collaborations alongside Denzel Washington and Harry Dean Stanton, and who was recently part of the Oscar-nominated Jane Austen’s Period Drama. His portrayal of Robert Pearson is expected to be a defining emotional experience for audiences.

He is joined by a rising ensemble:

  • Sam Bullington, recently featured in Kevin Costner’s Horizon: An American Saga – Chapter 2
  • Zainab Jah, acclaimed for All Dirt Roads Taste of Salt and Only Murders in the Building
  • Dominika Zawada and Luis Rizo, whose performances bring nuance and humanity to the caregiving dynamic

Behind the camera, the film reflects years of creative collaboration. Bentlage and Kincade have developed a sustained writing and directing partnership across features and short-form work, while Reilly and Valletta continue to grow KT Pictures and Hedy Films into prolific, filmmaker-driven production companies committed to performance-centered storytelling.

Their recent role as co-producers on Imposters, directed by Caleb Phillips and starring Jessica Rothe and Charlie Barnett, signals their expanding presence within the independent film landscape. The film’s SXSW premiere highlights their reach in the genre space, while Watching Mr. Pearson underscores their commitment to intimate, human storytelling.

Supporting the release is RBL Films & PR, led by industry veteran Ry Levey, working alongside the filmmakers on a targeted, community-first distribution strategy designed to build meaningful audience engagement from the ground up.

Together, Imposters and Watching Mr. Pearson reflect the range of KT Pictures and Hedy Films: a creative partnership capable of delivering both high-concept genre cinema and deeply personal, emotionally resonant work.

Right now, that momentum is building around Watching Mr. Pearson.

Across early markets, organizations are coordinating group attendance, community leaders are engaging around the film’s themes, and audiences are preparing to experience the film together. The rollout is being shaped not just by distribution, but by participation.

This is independent cinema activated in real time.

The powerful new documentary LET OUR MOUNTAINS LIVE will make its North American Premiere at the 2026 Hot Docs Canadian International Documentary Festival, runningApril 23rd to May 3rd, the film will screen twice during the festival at TIFF Lightbox on April 24th and 25th.

Director/producer Håvard Bustnes and Sámi filmmaker, writer, and producer Johannes Vang will be in attendance for the screenings.

A gripping and urgent documentary, LET OUR MOUNTAINS LIVE follows South Sámi reindeer herders Sissel Stormo Holtan and Terje Haugen as they wage a decades-long fight to protect their ancestral grazing lands from Europe’s largest onshore wind power development in the mountains of Fosen, Norway.

Yet despite the landmark ruling, the turbines remain standing. What follows is an extraordinary struggle that exposes a deeper crisis: when courts recognize injustice but governments fail to act.
