Story: Delusion starts when Meredith (Pearcy) takes a role as a live-in nurse for a disabled man. She gets welcomed into the home like a family member and quickly adapts to life in the new home. It doesn’t take long for Meredith to get drawn to the grandson, Gabriel (Dukakis), the rebel of the home.

However, a bigger mystery takes over when people in the home begin getting killed. Meredith must decide whether she wants to stay and begin to solve the mystery.

Recap

The movie follows a nurse who takes a home care role, where she helps a disabled man. However, she quickly falls for his grandson, but somebody begins killing the residents of the home.

Best Parts

The idea that a nurse enters a family only to find things spiralling out of control is interesting. It uses her trying to fit in and her unlikely relationship with the grandson to put her future in danger. Elsewhere, the performances are strong from the cast.

Worst Parts

There is an unsettling controlling behaviour going on in the movie. It doesn’t seem to fit the tone of everything and forces the bigger motivation over mystery behind the attacks.

Final ThoughtsDelusion is an unsettling thriller which can hold back on the bigger mystery.
