Top 5 Wrestlers Acting Performances

In the world of acting we see people entering the acting world from different fields, we have plenty of musicians but today I am looking at wrestlers who have enter the acting world. My simply rule is simple only one performance from each wrestler and I would like to state that I think these are the best performances that these guys have had not the most successfully.

5. Dave Bautista – Guardians of the Galaxy (2014)batista

Drax the Destroyer joins the unlikely group of heroes in the smash hit from 2014, many people questioned his casting when we saw the other names involved in the film but when we saw the final product he fitted in perfectly. Not only has this role gone down well with the fans and critics alike it has opened the doors to be involved in the next James Bond film ‘Spectre’.

4. Jesse Ventura – Predator (1987)ventura

Jacob Goodnight is the serial killer picking off a group of teenager trouble makers. For years Kane has played a monstrous character in the WWE and this simply puts his threat into a horror genre making him a screen presence which fills every character with fear.

Nada is the everyday drifter who accidently comes across the terrifying truth in the world. This could easily be the best none wrestler image performance in film because of the nature and genuine over the top reaction. ‘I am here to chew bubble gum and kick ass, and I’m all out of bubble gum’ is a line that will stick with us forever.

1. Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson – Gridiron Gang (2006)rock

Sean Porter is the teacher trying to teach his troubled teenagers in juvenile detention centre respect through American football, bring opposing gangs together to build for their futures. It is based on a true story and it would be fair to say it isn’t the most known performance from the Rock, but it feels like it is the most personal to him.
