Verdict on Lamborghini
Lamborghini is a drama exploring the life of Ferruccio Lamborghini. From his dreams after the war, to when he went on to challenge Enzo Ferrari with the best sports car. Wanting to prove himself as one of the greatest engineers of all time.
This is an interesting look at the challenges he looked to overcome. Seeing how different problems came up along the way. Getting to explore how the car manufacturing business was handled during the 50s and 60s. He was a smart businessman with a huge ambition to challenge the very best.
Unfortunately, the movie doesn’t put enough spotlight on the actual cars, more on the man behind them. Unlike ‘La Mans 66’ following the battle to become the best, not enough seems to be focused on the battle, with most using a phone call will fix the problem. Taking nothing away from the performances. Frank Grillo in the leading role does a great job throughout the film.
