2015 Watched List The Final One

Over the past year I have seen an incredible amount of films and I have decided to share with you all which ones I have seen in what order. I am going to be doing these in groups of ten, where I will pick my favourite of the bunch and the worst of the bunch.

 

So without further ramblings here we go 520 – 534 the final list:

 

1.      Spotlight spotight Brilliant investigation story against the Catholic Church.

2.      Concussion concussion Important film about how one man changed how one of the most popular sports is played.

3.      The Danish Girl danish Difficult but good drama about one man’s chance to trailblazer transgender movement in the 1920.

4.      The Good Dinosaur good dinosaur A weak Pixar film that should have been a lot better.

5.      Steve Jobs jobs Good drama looking at the man’s life moments before his big technological releases.

6.      The Mummy the_mummy_movie_poster Fun action adventure all around.

7.      The Mummy Returns mummy returnsGood sequel to the fun film.

8.      The Mummy Curse of the Dragon Empire mummy 3 Poor sequel but does move the story away from Egypt.

9.      Critters critters New Line Cinema trying to do their own version of Gremlins, fun but not perfect.

10.  Critters 2 criters 2 Solid sequel that gains the horror needed for the series.

11.  Trumbo trumbo Brilliant story showing how difficult it was to fight against the government.

12.  Critters 3 critters Yet another sequel that takes a step back from the original but DiCaprio his first film role.

13.  Critters 4 critters When the franchise is out of ideas take it to space.

14.  Rocky V rocky Rocky is getting older and wants to train but left with nothing he will not go down without swinging.

15.  Rocky Balboa balboa Computer simulator shows that Rocky versus current champion which leads to yet another come back.

2015 Watched List Part 51

Over the past year I have seen an incredible amount of films and I have decided to share with you all which ones I have seen in what order. I am going to be doing these in groups of ten, where I will pick my favourite of the bunch and the worst of the bunch.

 

So without further ramblings here we go 511 – 520:

 

1.      Hans Crippleton Talk to the Hans hanss One from the Troma fans really otherwise you will not enjoy.

2.      The Revenant rvenant Is this final time DiCaprio wins his Oscar, with this breath taking visual stunning film.

3.      Carol carol The first of two love stories that make this list with this being the stronger acted one.

4.      Brooklyn brooklyn The second love story to appear which feels like a more generic love story that is enjoyable to watch

5.      The Hateful Eight hateful Tarantino is back and this time he gives us his trademarks shining through the film.

6.      Looper looper One of my favourite time travel films of all time that actually feels fresh and doesn’t hold back any punches.

7.      The Lookout lookout A good crime drama thriller that really keeps us guessing while dealing with a sensitive subject.

8.      Blood Work bloodCrime thriller again here from Mr Eastwood dealing with health scares while investigating.

9.      Star Wars: The Force Awakens star wars This is the sequel we were looking for.

10.  Spotlight spotightBrilliant investigation into the corruption within the Catholic church.

 

The Best – The Revenant rvenant This was a hard pick 6 of these films got over 9 out of 10.

Over the past year I have seen an incredible amount of films and I have decided to share with you all which ones I have seen in what order. I am going to be doing these in groups of ten, where I will pick my favourite of the bunch and the worst of the bunch.

 

So without further ramblings here we go 501 – 510:

 

1.      In the Heart of the Sea in the heat The story of how the story of Moby Dick comes about, this looks great but lacks the real character development required.

2.      How to Save Us save us A horror gem which follows two brothers as they look to survive and unlock the mystery surrounding the evacuation of Tasmanian.

3.      The Perfect Guy perfect guy The fatal attraction story told one more time, better than some but not the original.

4.      Blackhat blackhat Cyber-crime thriller that lacks that punch needed to pull us completely in.

5.      Public Enemies public John Dillinger and his men have to avoid the Bureau of investigation in the true crime story with a mega cast.

6.      Collateral collertal Hitman catches a cab for one night to complete his mission in what turns out to be an epic game of cat and mouse between the two.

7.      Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse Fun zombie comedy that mixes the fun behind Superbad and Dance of the Dead.

8.      Room room I will keep this one short, the best film this year.

9.      Anger of the Dead anger A very disappoint zombie film with bad acting, decision making and storyline.

10.  Crying Wolfcrying A quirky British horror comedy that has laughs throughout

Over the past year I have seen an incredible amount of films and I have decided to share with you all which ones I have seen in what order. I am going to be doing these in groups of ten, where I will pick my favourite of the bunch and the worst of the bunch.

 

So without further ramblings here we go 491 – 500:

 

1.      Rising Sun sun The old school odd couple crime thriller which comes off slightly short but shows the genre can still be watchable.

2.      The Dark Place dak place This is a standard who dun it made for television movie that does what it needs to without excelling.

3.      Tank Girl tank Cult classic comic book film that will forever be just bonkers.

4.      Infernal Affairs infernal The original Departed storyline, shows just where the brilliant story comes from.

5.      Infernal Affairs II infernal A prequel to the original giving us the origin stories for both our leads.

6.      Infernal Affairs III infernal The final chapter and slightly messy at that a we follow forward and back to learn the stories of our character.

7.      Summer of Fear summer Early Wes Craven TV movie that doesn’t quite get the scares needed.

8.      Victor Frankenstein victor yet another telling of the Mary Shelly classic from Igor’s point of view.

9.      Damned United damned The brilliant story of the legendary football manager Brian Clough and his terrible time at Leeds United.

10.  Shockwave Darksideshckwave What feels like a builder to a big prospect that falls very short with effects and story.

1.      Big Ass Spider! big as Pure action comedy fun about a Big Ass Spider what more can you want?

2.      The Hunger Games Mockingjay Part 2 hunger games Finally it is over and I have no idea what the point was.

3.      The Laughing Mask mask A new serial killer born into the horror genre.

4.      Exam exam Tension thriller in a single location that keeps you guessing from start to finish.

5.      Rogue rogue Killer crocodile, well that is it really in this thriller.

6.      The French Connection french Classic crime film that will forever be one of the best ever made.

7.      The French Connection II french Good conclusion to the classic saga.

8.      Racing Extinction race Important documentary about changing how we live now.

9.      Live-Evil live Horror with a unique style mashing up Planet Terror and The Fog.

10.  Amadeus amadeus Brilliant Biographical film about one of the most iconic men in music.

 

The Best – Big Ass Spider! big asI just loved how fun it was, might not be the best film but the one I will watch again first.
