Verdict on Bring Him Back Dead
Alex is a member of the heist team, a senior member and a driver. He will look to get the job done and leave, but when things don’t go to plan, he must set up his own escape. He sets off to escape only to find himself being followed by the rest of the gang. Showing off a deadly set of skills he has been hiding from the rest.
Trent is the man that has hired the gang for the job. He has expectations that his demands are met, only after an error, which needs to clean up. After Alex takes the diamonds, he demands they are returned.
Lisa is Trent’s daughter that helped Alex escape, though he isn’t as trusting of her nature. She keeps her reasoning a secret from him.
There are other members of the gang, who will fill the generic characters you expect to see in these types of movies.
Gary Daniels in the leading role gets to show off his fighting skills being the anti-hero doing the right thing. He does get a few lines to try and make himself sound smarter than the rest while showing the deeper side of his motivation when needed.
Louis Mandylor does well as the gang leader, which he will show as the dominant figure running the option. Daniel Baldwin gets a moment to shine in the movie. Katie Keene makes for a strong female supporting character.
The story sees a robbery gone wrong, as the gang leader wants the job cleaned up. Until one of the groups takes the loot and goes on the run, forcing the rest to chase him down.
The story follows a typical trend of a heist gone wrong and the group not being as loyal as they seemed. It follows the hunting down through the woods, as one is looking to escape for their own motives. The film doesn’t seem to offer too much freshness to the sub-genre, feeling like we have seen it all before.
Bring Him Back Dead is an action thriller that follows the criminal gang whose robbery goes wrong. It will keep the action simple, with the shootouts only giving the typical near shots moments. The woodland area doesn’t add too much to the story, because it feels like they don’t get very far at all.
Where to Watch: Bring Him Back Dead is coming to VOD on the 2nd of August 2022.
Final Thoughts – Bring Him Back Dead is an easy-to-watch action film, that doesn’t offer too much new.
