Alien 3
Following the masterpieces that are Alien and Aliens, Alien 3 tried to continue the story into a new location, a prison planet where Ripley crash land, which unexplainably kills off the rest of the survivors from Aliens. This is a darker environment, with the same threat from the alien side of things, while giving us a fresh threat from the human side of things, with the prisoners all having their own feelings towards a woman on their planet.
While this isn’t on the same level as the previous two films, it is still an extremely watchable sci-fi horror from one of the best directors in the industry, David Fincher, even if he didn’t like the studio edits. We also have a very good cast outside of Sigourney Weaver.
If you enjoyed the first two aliens, you should give this one a chance, as it will continue the Ripley battle with the Alien creatures.
