Verdict on Triple Cross

Triple Cross is a mystery thriller following three members of the crime world in one location. They have found themselves coming together over the latest job and now they must battle for trust and survival, despite coming from different sides of a battle.

This does give us a story that wants to keep us guessing as to whom we can trust along the way. However, there is a weakness in this, which is the overuse of mood-setting between interactions. If we move away from the minor weakness, we get to see a marvellous achievement for such a shoestring budget. We get great performances and a story that makes us want to know what could happen next.

Where to Watch: Triple Cross is available to watch on Amazon Prime.

Final Thoughts Triple Cross is a marvellous tight budgeted movie.

Story: South of Heaven starts when Jimmy (Sudeikis) gets early parole. With the promise, he will make his sweetheart Annie (Lilly) has the perfect last year of her life. Jimmy looks to start an honest life, but it isn’t long before his past comes back to him.

His parole officer Schmidt (Whigham) asks him to complete a pickup job, which sees the job to spiral out of control. Jimmy clashes with White Price (Colter) as the two play a dangerous game of cat-n-mouse.

Verdict on South of Heaven

South of Heaven is an action thriller that follows a criminal that is given a chance to redeem himself, only to find himself dragged back into the criminal world. It creates a world where one thing goes wrong and then things only continue to get worse for the man who is trying to fix his life.

This doesn’t bring us very much new and by the end of the film, the big heart it has takes the back burner to the criminal world. It keeps us guessing as to what will happen next, as in the world he is trapped in as everything just seems to escalate.

The performances in the film are strong enough, with Jason Sudeikis being the best of the performers.

Final Thoughts South of Heaven is a standard action thriller with a spiralling out-of-control story.

Verdict on Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Once & Always

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Once & Always brings the popular cult figures back to life. This time a range of power rangers from different generations come together against a familiar enemy. Meanwhile, the daughter of one of the rangers has the desire to join and must learn discipline before embracing her powers.

This is a fun addition to the cult show, this hour-long vision of the creation gets the cheesy lines, wacky action and intergalactic battles done well throughout. If you grew up watching this over the years, you will get a massive amount of enjoyment here. This does grab the nostalgia act idea having something for everyone involved. Along with the returning faces Charlie Kersh is a great addition to the cast.

Where to Watch: Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Once & Always is available on Netflix now.

Final ThoughtsMighty Morphin Power Rangers: Once & Always is a delightful nostalgia journey.
