Verdict: UMMMMM ZZZZZZ I Think

Story: The Neon Demon starts young naïve model Jesse (Fanning) who at the tender age of 16 moved the LA to make a name for herself, striking up a friendship with make-up artist Ruby (Malone) she finds her way to model agent Roberta Hoffman (Hendricks) who starts her on her trail to stardom.

As Jesse stars to rise up the ranks in the modelling world she meets all the other models that have all gone to their own lengths to get into the world, but will she let this new world consume her.

The Neon Demon is a film I can honestly say I really just didn’t understand or of the bits I did understand I feel it comes off like a poor version of Starry Eyes. The film is full blown artsy with lots of long shots of pretty much nothing happening other than music. In the end I found myself wanting this to be a lot shorter and have a more rounded story.

Overall: Artsy messy film really

Episode 10 – Homer’s Night Out

Couch Gag – This time we return to the collapsing sofa.

Plot SynopsisAfter a photograph of Homer canoodling with an exotic dancer is distributed throughout Springfield, he finds himself kicked out of the house by Marge.

What is going on reallyWe get to see six months in the Simpsons household as Homer’s assistant goes from single to married and promoted above him and Bart orders a camera that makes him a spy.

With Homer going to his boss’s bachelor party the rest of the family go out for dinner, but it just so happens to all be taking place in the same location where Bart captures a photo of Homer dancing with the exotic dancer.

When the photo gets spread around town Homer becomes the centre of attention but Marge finds out and kicks him out of the house. Homer must face the truth to what he has done making it up to Marge.

Star Character

Final ThoughtsThis is the second episode in a row that has dealt with marital problems between Marge and Homer, I would question the placement of this episode because the previous one Marge almost cheats on Homer and all Homer does is dance with striper. I feel this is a poor episode from what was a solid season.
