Top Favourite 5 Angelina Jolie Roles

Today I am looking to my favourite Angelina Jolie roles, she has a total of 46 credits to her name and even stepped behind the camera for Unbroken in 2014. She has been nominated for two acting Oscars but neither of those films made my list, I have pick films that make her character feel iconic.

5. Franky – Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow (2004)franky

Franky is the pilot who teams up to help the Sky Captain fight against a new enemy looking to take over the world. It would be fair to say that you would have expected to see a male in this role but Angelina turns up and steals the show with her performance.

4. Amelia Donaghy – The Bone Collector (1999)bone

Amelia is the detective who is has to work with quadriplegic detective track down a serial killer that is terrorizing New York. We see Denzel Washington be the star of the film but Jolie’s character does most of the work and easily puts herself on the map ready to be a leading lady in film.

3. Kate – Hackers (1995)hackers

Kate is one of the hacker team trying to uncover a secret service idea to release a virus on the World Wide Web. One of the early roles for Angelina here and she shines with a group of young stars in the making.

2. Sara ‘Sway’ Wayland – Gone In Sixty Seconds (2000)gone

Sara is the lone female member of the elite group of car thieves who knows can go toe to toe with them all. This would be the first blockbuster movie that Angelina had to her name and it would be fair to say it made her appeal to both male and female audience.

1. Lara Croft – Lara Croft Tomb Raider (2001)lara

Lara Croft is arguable the biggest video game icon to come out of Playstation and Angelina makes a perfect choice for the role. We is tough and sexy at the same time and shows here with her first lead role that she was ready to be a big name in the world of Hollywood.
